Got the truck, need the muscle? Mosby Movers sends two movers to load or unload your rental truck, pod, portable container or storage unit. $165 an hour for two movers, three-hour minimum. No truck from us, so you pay for labor only.
What labor-only help covers
- Loading a rental truck (U-Haul, Penske, Budget and the like).
- Loading or unloading a PODS-style container or a portable storage box.
- Loading or emptying a storage unit.
- Moving heavy furniture between rooms or floors in the same home.
- Unloading at your new place after you drive the truck there yourself.
How it is billed
Two movers at $165 an hour, three-hour minimum. After the minimum, time is billed in half-hour steps, and a partial half hour is not charged. No deposit. You pay when the job is done, by cash, any major card, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or online. We do not take checks.
Labor-only or a full move?
Labor-only makes sense when you already have the truck and the driver. If you would rather we bring the truck and drive it, that is a full local move at $185 an hour with a four-hour minimum, with wrapping and furniture take-apart and reassembly included. What we need from you
- Where the truck, pod or unit will be, and when.
- The truck or container size.
- Floors and stairs at the home.
- The big pieces: sofas, beds, dressers, appliances.
Where we work
Harford County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Howard, Carroll, Prince George’s and Montgomery counties. Office hours are 8 AM to 6 PM, seven days a week, and same-day help is often open Monday through Thursday.
Labor-only questions
Do you drive my rental truck?
No. With labor-only, you drive. If you want us to supply and drive the truck, book a full move.
