One hourly rate, with the truck and crew included
Mosby Movers handles local moves across Harford, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Carroll, Anne Arundel, Howard, Prince George’s and Montgomery counties. We’re based in Abingdon and have been moving Maryland families since 2016.
What it costs
Local moves are $185 an hour with a four-hour minimum. That covers the truck, a crew of two or three movers, furniture wrapping, and taking beds and tables apart and putting them back together.
- You never pay for our drive to your first address. The clock starts when our crew knocks and you let us in.
- It keeps running while we load, drive to your new place, unload and reassemble, and it stops when the last piece is back together.
- After the four-hour minimum, we bill in half-hour steps and don’t charge for a partial half hour.
For a fuller breakdown, read what a local move actually costs in Maryland. Already rented a truck or container? Our labor-only crews are $165 an hour with a three-hour minimum.
Booking
Same-day and next-day moves are often possible when a crew is open. If you cancel on the day of your move, there’s a $185 cancellation charge.
