Main Street and the old town
The blocks around Main Street and the streets off it are old, tight and parked up. Houses have narrow side yards, steep stairs and, in some cases, a rear alley that is the better door. Parking a truck on Main Street is not realistic; we work from a side street and plan the carry.
MD-140, MD-27 and MD-97
Westminster is where the three main state roads in the county meet. MD-140 to Reisterstown and the Baltimore Beltway is the way most of our trucks arrive, and it is a fast road outside the evening peak. MD-27 south toward Damascus and Montgomery County and MD-97 toward Frederick County cover the rest.
